Info about the product

Previously, Stine Weigelt created a spindle chair for FDB Møbler. In continuation of the chair, she has introduced coffee tables and a stool, all bearing the unmistakable signature of the Aarhus-based designer. Similar to the chair, the stool and coffee table have three legs, along with the subtle detail where the upper end of the leg meets the table edge, forming a small tangent circle. The stool is crafted from solid oak wood, a natural material, and therefore, natural variations in the surface are to be expected. This attribute renders each stool unique, as no two stools will be entirely alike. The stool is suitable for all rooms, especially in tight spaces such as the entrance, hallway, or dining kitchen.
Designer Stine Weigelt - FDB Møbler

Stine Lundgaard Weigelt

Stine Weigelt (b. 1978) graduated from Design School Kolding in 2014. She is based in Aarhus, and in her collaboration with FDB Møbler has shone a fresh light on what constitutes good furniture today. Stine Weigelt’s furniture design is distinguished by its stringent and simple style, where everything superfluous has been pared away. Her work is imbued with a sense of respect for the FDB Møbler heritage, yet boldly challenges the status quo and explores new ways of creating furniture. Her existential starting point is to seek solutions with a high degree of functionality, aesthetics and quality – and synergistic effects. In her furniture design, her focus is on the user. On functional and practical furniture for different situations.
