FDB Møbler x linseed oil
The collaboration between FDB Møbler and Linseed Oil & Pigment celebrates traditional craftsmanship with the Ragnesminde series
these very elements together. The Ragnesminde series consists of a coffee table and a
side table that pays homage to Danish design heritage, where old craftsmanship techniques
are combined with modern aesthetics.
Harmonious symbiosis
At the linseed oil factory Linolie & Pigment in Øsby in Southern Jutland, everything is done by hand - according to old methods and formulas that are preserved in beautifully patinated books. Here, past and present merge in a harmonious symbiosis, and it is precisely this connection between the old and the modern that FDB Møbler is also at the heart of everything they do. FDB Møbler and Linolie & Pigment share a deep love for our history and craft traditions. The new Ragnesminde coffee table and side table brings these values into the present. The collection draws on old materials like pine and linseed oil and combines them in a beautiful and clean design that fits perfectly with today's aesthetic.
Pigmented oils
Designed by Katrine Sander, the Ragnesminde series is as much a tribute to the craftsmanship of the past as it is an innovative addition to modern interior design. The tables are made from carefully selected pine wood - treated with pigmented oils from Linolie & Pigment, giving them both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Ragnesminde
The series comes in Bilbao, New Dehli, Aarhus and natural pine colors. The name Ragnesminde is inspired by the old farm that today serves as FDB Møbler's headquarters. This name is a tribute to the architecture of the past and the values that underpin FDB Møbler's design philosophy. The Ragnesminde series brings a touch of this historical charm into modern homes, where the simple lines and natural materials create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
