Designer Emil Reimert is the latest talent that will help bring FDB Møbler's traditions into a new era. Even Emil Reimert says that he does not use the design classics as inspiration-closer to abstraction-but still you can see many of the same virtues in his work that are based on the understanding of the craft. Crafts, design and material are the trinity that is at the heart of our design tradition, he says - and sounds almost like an echo of previous generations' great designers.
One of his first furniture at FDB Møbler was the bench Havneholmen, where precisely the materials with carpentry collections and large machine screws radiated the rustic quality of the materials.
