In 2023, we celebrated the 125th anniversary of Mogens Koch's birth and the creation of our new MK46 sofa. Now we're extending its story through our collaboration with SPOOR. SPOOR produces ethical and traceable leather with animal welfare in mind.
The sofa is one of Mogens Koch's designs from 1947. The sofa was originally designed as a special order for the manor Gammel Kjøgegaard near Køge. It is a great pleasure that we can now bring this updated version of the beautiful MK46 sofa to life.
TRACK
SPOOR is part of Denmark's last remaining tannery and delivers high-quality Nordic and sportable leather to conscious brands. Through data and documentation, they can trace each piece of leather back to the animal. This includes documentation on animal welfare standards, climate impact and life cycle assessments from farms, CSR documentation, production transparency and certifications.
High quality Scandinavian leather
Through a unique laser-printed code marked in the leather, it can be traced all the way back to the individual animal. Our collaboration with SPOOR ensures that we use high quality and responsible Scandinavian leather.
