Info about the product

Børge Mogensen’s A232 sideboard first appeared in the FDB Møbler catalog in 1964, and in the decades that followed it became a coveted item of vintage furniture. With a reputation like that, it’s no surprise that this piece has now found its way back into the company’s current lineup. A distinguished representative of the work of one of Danish furniture design's most prominent names, it manages to be both supremely functional, with its wide range of storage options, and, thanks to an FSC® -certified veneer finish and custom-crafted brass components, thoroughly stylish. Select from trays of different sizes to suit your individual needs.

Børge Mogensen

Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) was one of Denmark's most important furniture architects. Almost all Danes have experienced his design-from the well-known, modern FDB furniture in the 1940s to the countless classics that have furnished both our homes and public spaces since World War II.

Børge Mogensen believed that the furniture should fit man, and not the other way around. Functional quality furniture above all. Whether it's the sofa, dining table or dining table chair, there is a clear and red throughout thread in his furniture.

Simple lines, clean wood surfaces and bold core leather. A modern design that draws threads back into history.
