FDB Møbler is relaunching the J138 folding chair by Erik Ole Jørgensen which originally was designed in 1978. The beautiful chair is available in oiled oak and a light shade of 100% linen (Oeko-Tex). The chair is designed to be completely foldable, taking up very little space when stored. A functional piece of furniture in a refined Danish design.

Erik Ole Jørgensen

Erik Ole Jørgensen (1927-2002) was a Danish furniture architect who was originally a trained furniture paddles. The senses of color scales and color combinations discovered the newly trained furniture paddles.

Years later he started his education as a furniture architect, and in 1948 he finally graduated at the School of Arts and Crafts. During his career, he designed both furniture and textiles. His simple, functional furniture has placed him among the best Danish furniture designers. One of his best known furniture is our trema sofa series, which was originally designed for FDB Furniture.
