Info about the product

The windblown landscape in northern Jutland has inspired the Lønstrup chair, where the superfluous details have been pared away to leave the bare essentials. A bit like the landscape around Lønstrup on Jutland’s west coast, which has been popular with nature-lovers and artists for generations. The result is a chair that can stand alone or as a group to create a distinctive designer look in the living room, dining room or elsewhere in the home. Just as nature offers its own variations, Lønstrup comes with either an oak veneer seat or a woven paper cord seat. The round legs and struts and the woven paper cord are reminiscent of various well-known designer chairs, yet the style is unmistakably contemporary.

Stine Weigelt's furniture crafts are characterized by a tight and simple design where everything is superfluous is cut away. She possesses both a respect and sense of the legacy that FDB Møbler stands for, and at the same time she is not afraid to challenge the existing and seek new ways of creating furniture. As an existential starting point, she seeks solutions with a high degree of functionality, aesthetics and quality that must play together and go into a higher unit. In her furniture, man is in focus. Functional and usable furniture for different occasions.
