Info about the product

Both Børge Mogensen and Hans Wegner designed rocking chairs for FDB Møbler. In the 1950s Børge Mogensen was able to further improve on the already comfortable Windsor Chair when he added rockers to create the J52G rocking chair. The chair bears Børge Mogensen’s elegant, clean lines, and is available in many beautiful colours. A chair for total relaxation that fits into the living room or elsewhere around the home, wherever you want space for tranquility and contemplation.

Børge Mogensen

Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) was one of Denmark's most important furniture architects. Almost all Danes have experienced his design-from the well-known, modern FDB furniture in the 1940s to the countless classics that have furnished both our homes and public spaces since World War II.

Børge Mogensen believed that the furniture should fit man, and not the other way around. Functional quality furniture above all. Whether it's the sofa, dining table or dining table chair, there is a clear and red throughout thread in his furniture.

Simple lines, clean wood surfaces and bold core leather. A modern design that draws threads back into history.
