The furniture designers Johannes Foersom (1947-) and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen (1943-) go by the artist name Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen. Together they have run their own design studio since the late 1970s and are considered today for "The Grand Old Men" in Danish furniture design. They work from the idea of ​​the good and solid craftsmanship and with a great emphasis on functionalism.
